Sri Venugopalaswami Temple, Karvetinagaram

Sri Venugopala-Swamy

Sri Venugopala Swamy Temple was erected by King Venkataperumal of the Venkataraja dynasty in the 15th century and has been under Karvatinagar Rajas for much longer. The Tabernacle has been a sacred place for pilgrims numerous times. The minstrel and songster Sarangapani contributed further than 200 padams, in fidelity to Lord Sri Venugopala Swamy of Karvetinagaram.

The main tabernacle palace is veritably altitudinous with beautiful busts leading to a commodious tabernacle front yard. There’s a step well beside the tabernacle. The main deity of the tabernacle is Sri Krishna Venugopala Swamy with a cow before and adjoined by his two consorts Rukmini Ammavaru and Sri Satyabhama Ammavaru attracts the addicts veritably. There’s a pot of adulation just near Sri Krishna’s bases.

Lord Sri Krishna tabernacle famed as the Sri Venugopalaswamy Temple is an ancient tabernacle. It’s the only Krishna tabernacle located in the vicinity of Tirupati, which represents the nonage of Lord Krishna. The main deity Statue is sculpted from one single gemstone.

Sri Venugopala Swamy Temple tabernacle was formerly maintained by the Narayanavanam Autocrats but now the tabernacle is maintained by Tirumala Tirupati Devastanam( TTD).

Sri Venugopala Swamy Temple is positioned in Karveti Nagaram which is 13 km from Puttur and 48 km from Tirupati.
